RSS REBOUND UNLEASHED!
RSS Management and Manipulation
With RSS Rebound, you can automatically add others' RSS feeds into a database on a schedule, categorized, along with adding your own material manually if you choose. The inbound RSS items are split so that one RSS item is one database entry. Since individual items are stored in the database, they can be deleted, commented on, or "sandwiched" between your own content. This makes these feeds totally unique and ready to be spidered with out the fear of being penalized for duplicant content.
The other important component of RSS Rebound is the outbound RSS feeds it creates, by category, based on what is stored in the database. These outbound feeds can then be added to any RSS auto-posting software you may use (see below).
In a sense, RSS Rebound allows you to create a "holding tank" of your own and others' (where allowed) RSS feeds in addition to your own content. You then can sift through the "holding tank", to delete, approve, or comment on the individual feed items stored there, to be included in your own categorized RSS feeds generated by RSS Rebound. Yes, this takes a bit of manual effort to do correctly, but for the small amount of time invested, the results can be well worth it! By "cherry picking" individual RSS items you can help keep the posts you display on your sites more on theme. And "sandwiching" RSS items with your own content will help make each post uniquely yours. Plus, your posts can look more natural to the search engines, because you can have, for example, 10 posts linking back to 10 different domains, as opposed to 10 posts all linking to the exact same domain.
Wouldn't all this RSS CONTROL be worth MAJOR MONEY to you?
RSS Rebound will be of most benefit those who:
- understand RSS already: what it is, what it can do for you
- feel comfortable with setting up a MySQL database, file permissions, etc.
- own and use other software to regularly and automatically add/update content to your web pages or blogs using RSS feeds. Examples include: RSS2Blog, Blog Auto Publisher, Blogbomb, ZZ Tuel, RSS Equalizer, Power RSS, Power Up Wordpress, FeedWordpress, Auto Blogging Tools, and many others.
Here's what I think is the most powerful feature of RSS Rebound: You can post original or private label content to your blogs or other sites that generate an RSS feed. Take those feeds, add them to RSS Rebound, then edit, combine, or comment on them. Then feed those very same RSS items back out from RSS Rebound to your other sites using any of the afore-mentioned software, or make them available to the RSS feed directories for others to use. This will let you stretch your content much further, while keeping it unique from site to site.
RSS Rebound will let you optionally enter a list of keywords associated, each associated with a URL. If one of your keywords appears in an outbound feed item, then a hyperlink to the associated URL of that keyword will be created automatically. What a great way to promote Clickbank or other affiliate products, or to generate deep links to your pages from every place your RSS feeds are used!
Posts may be entered with a future time-stamp, so that they won't appear in an RSS feed until the time you want. This is a perfect way to work in combination with blog auto-posting software that posts RSS feeds, because you can prepare a lot of content ahead of time for your feeds that you will use.
Important additional info
This software requires PHP 5 or higher, along with MySQL, in a Linux/Apache environment. It also takes advantage of a php function called iconv that may or may not be available on all shared hosts.
You may use this software on all domains that you own. You may not sell, give away, or otherwise share this software in any way.
